OBJECTIVE
To combine my professional work and experience as an actor, clown, circus artist and capoeirista to create a fun, stimulating, and safe environment for students to discover themselves as artists and human beings. Focus on creating curriculum that engages the body, voice, and imagination. Challenge and activate students as a director, coach, and role model.


EXPERIENCE

The United Palace of Cultural Arts Circus Program| Program Manager & Lead Teaching Artist| New York, NY|June-Present

  • Designed pilot youth program in collaboration with Circus Harmony, St. Louis
  • Creation of curriculum and all accompanying administrative documentation
  • Manage two teaching artists
  • Acts as liaison between executive directors of both U.P.C.A. and Circus Harmony
  • Manage communication between children, parents, staff and executives
  • Act as lead teacher in acrobatics, clowning, juggling and equilibristics
  • Director of final circus show performed in the 3,400 seat Palace Theater
